Windy City Comics is a brand identity I originally designed for the OPTO showroom that was based on an actual comic book store that was previously located in Chicago. Keeping the now closed store's name, I wanted to develop a brand that reflected the proud city it came from.

Using the Chicago flag as my inspiration and having the iconic red and blue be the color palette was the best way to ensure the foundation of the brand truly reflected the city that I will always call home.
